VSV400V
ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE & QUALITY
VSV400V MODEL
Sleek and comfortable the VSV400V features all the innovative and groundbreaking modifications Trev Wilkinson developed for the industry standard VSVG vibrato to create a contemporary modern classic.
Taking the unique bent steel saddles created for the VSVG vibrato gives the VSV400V vintage tone and sparkle with a comfort that no vintage saddle can offer, the saddles neatly lock down onto, onto our unique 5+1 hardened base plate. Developed for the VSVG Vibrato, five elongated holes and one standard hole replace the vintage six screw style mounting holes; this unique method removes the tuning issues created by mounting screw misalignment and mounting screws binding on the knife edge.
STAGGER DRILL PATTERN
The VSV400V’s steel sustain block utilises the stagger drill pattern from the VSVG vibrato, this unique string hole pattern allows every string to have a more consistent angle over the intonation point of each saddle which greatly aids tuning stability. Tuning stability is further aided by deep drilling the sustain block where each strings anchor point is deeper in the block than a vintage style vibrato, this process means less string windings are held in the block than a vintage unit so less room for the string to stretch, and greater stability without sacrificing tone or sustain.
The push in vibrato arm completes the VSV400V unit, this slides into a delrin sleeve inserted into the sustain block, with rear block tension adjustment for perfect feel.
