A true story of passion and deep emotions, Ruha Ruokangas and his small team of likeminded individuals create instruments that are not just manufactured.

One visit to their exquisite website will convince you that so much more goes into every guitar or bass that leaves the Harviala Guitar Manor in Harviala, Finland.

Described as a Master Luthier, Crazy Scientist and Guitar Player, Ruha is not driven by the demands of industry and the mass production of guitars and basses, put simply Ruha states, “Our ambition is simply to live our lives making guitars, cherishing the tradition of handcraft. Why? Because we love it. It’s a good life”.

A founding member and now Vice President of the EGB (European Guitar Builders) a society dedicated to creating a place where luthiers can meet and learn from each other, thus furthering the art of guitar building throughout the European network, Juha hosts regular You Tube videos discussing all aspects of the guitar showcasing his huge knowledge of the instrument.

Ruokangas utilises various Wilkinson products on their unique creations including the WT3 hardtail, VSVG vibrato and WT2 bass bridge.
